1974 Ferrari 365 GT4/ BB Berlinetta Boxer

 

S/N 18187, silver over black leather.

 

European production Ferrari with only 387 cars ever produced, this car is one of a handful cars that are in the US today.

The 365GT/BB was introduced at the Turin Auto salon in 1971. The styling of this Ferrari would immediately be recognized as the work of master stylist Pininfarina.

This new 2 seater would be substantially different from previous models. First, Ferrari opted for a Flat 12 cylinder engine and secondly the F-1 derived motor would be mounted in the middle of the chassis to improve handling.

 

The double overhead cam 4.4 liter 12 cylinder produces a hefty 380 hp with a distinguishing exhaust note. Ferrari claimed a top speed of 180mp/h at the time and Road & Track called it "the fastest road car, we've ever tested."

 

Certainly a very rare and highly collectible Ferrari.

 

The car on offer here has been imported to the US early in its life. It has enjoyed the careful ownership of 3 owners and has only traveled a documented 19000 miles (30622 kilometers).

 

This car has been fully serviced with a recent cam belt change and is technically and visually in very nice condition.

 

This Ferrari comes with all books and manuals and an extra set of rims (512) and exhaust system.
