Consigning your car with us is a straight forward process and it eliminates the troubles associated with selling a car on your own. We take care of everything, from handling the requests to the actual shipment anywhere on the globe.

The Global Market
The collector car market of today is a global one and certain cars are worth more in certain markets. Currency fluctuations can also play a major role. This is where our experience and knowledge pays off for you. We are working worldwide, with a strong emphasis on Europe, where we still have a presence with our German office. We are experts in international marketing, fluent in German and English and we know the market structure in Europe. Besides our home markets of Northern America and Europe, we also actively sell cars in Japan, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Russia and the Middle East.

How does it work?
Consigning a car to our online marketing services is very easy and straight forward. Minimum consignment is 4 weeks,  our clients typically choose a time frame of 3-6 months. During the time you consign with us we ask for an exclusive right to do so. This is a stipulation we feel necessary as there is nothing more counter productive to the sale of a car as having it show up from different sources. This includes your own activity as well.

We do not take posession of the car!
The car can stay with you and so does the title. What we need from you is this:

•   20-30 high resolution photos of the car in jpeg format, showing the vehicle from all angles, in and out,
all compartments and the underside!
•   Along with that we ask for a complete and thorough description of the car's condition and history
including -and in particular- possible shortcomings if there are any.
•   Additionally, copies of important paperwork such as a certificate of originality, restoration receipts,
service receipts and owner's history. The more complete the documentation of a vehicle is, the better it is for the sale.

Once we have all the info, the car will be added to our online Garage and the worldwide marketing starts. This includes international online advertisements, print ads and direct mailings to thousands of collectors in our database.

When we have a prospective buyer for the car, we will work on your schedule to make an appointment for inspection. The inspection may be done by ourselves on the buyer’s behalf, or by the buyer himself. We may also engage in the services of a third party such as an appraiser, should our buyer choose that option. There is no cost involved to you.

When the car sells we will arrange the shipping process from where the car is to its new domestic or international destination. No cost or obligation to you. When the funds are in your account only then will you release the title and vehicle.

Consign to our Showroom on I-94!
We also offer the option of a physical consignment to our showroom.
This gives your car the extra edge with visitors in our showroom above and beyond the online presence. Our showroom is a restored historic building in the quaint town of Lake Mills, WI, right off I-94 connecting Chicago with St.Paul, Minneapolis. We are centered about 2 hours West of Chicago, one hour West of Milwaukee and a short 20 minutes from Madison, WI. There is a fee of US$ 100 per month associated with this service. Since the building is insured with basic service we ask for the car you bring to carry an insurance policy. We want you to be covered in the unlikely event of a fire, theft, collision or other damages to your vehicle. Therefore, we do ask for a copy of your insurance policy before bringing in the car. We’re happy to quote shipping to us from anywhere in the Continental US and Canada upon request. 

What is the cost?
Our online marketing program is absolutely free until the car sells. With a successful sale we are entitled to a commission payment. Our commission schedule is very competitive and not set in stone like it is with many other brokers. We feel it is best to evaluate the car, discuss your price idea, consider the market value and then set a commission with you. A typical procedure is to set a percentage of the sales price or agree on a flat fee.
As pointed out above, consigning your car to our showroom is US$ 100 per month.
